Many teachers have indicated that they would like to stay in touch with each other from the Summer institute and other teachers across the state. We will e-mail you a password code for your site as well as a statewide site. The communication is closed to teachers in the project. Feel free to pose questions, share ideas and thoughts with us. We are using Edmodo as a means for you to communicate with each other. Thank you Travis Olsen for setting up these sites for us.

STATE APPROVED PD CREDITS

Teachers will be paid a stipend to attend the PD sessions.
However, if you wish to get PD credit (3 hours) this option will be available for you. You will have to directly pay for the credit.
PD Credit – approved by Nevada Department of Education, counts towards re-certification credit. 3 credits
We have got approval from the Nevada Department of Education to provide 3 credits of PD credit that will count toward re-certification. The cost of the PD credit is $250.00.
